With a bachelor's in business administration with a concentration in finance from Georgetown University, Benjamin David Pike is an experienced finance professional.

Starting his career in 2006 as an analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, he analyzed mergers and acquisitions across a variety of industries. The following year, Benjamin David Pike joined Merrill Lynch, where he performed financial modeling and analysis of debt and equity financings as well as mergers and acquisitions. From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Pike worked for Energy Investors Funds, where he originated, structured, and executed private equity investment opportunities. Among other transactions, he worked on a New York City construction project which raised over $1 billion during the 2008/2009 financial crisis.

Mr. Pike has served at Ares Management since 2015 and is a Principal. Mr. Pike has focused on a wide variety of infrastructure businesses including microgrids, transmission, renewable fuels, hydropower, midstream, carbon sequestration, hydrogen, electric vehicles, and battery storage.

He's a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and enjoys hiking and skiing in his free time.
